Off Model covers international anime and manga from a Cyprus-based perspective. The publication is interested in editorial arguments, close reading, collecting decisions, adaptation choices, and the physical things fans make after a story leaves the page or screen.
Selected, not comprehensive
Off Model does not intend to repeat every announcement or cover every currently airing series. Editorial selection is based on relevance, genuine interest, available expertise, and whether there is something useful to add.
That leaves room for Shonen Jump chapter discussions, seasonal anime, longer manga criticism, practical Cyprus guides, collection features, HueForge projects, model painting, and subjects a future contributor understands better than the founder does.
From Cyprus, not only about Cyprus
Cyprus shapes the publication without limiting it. Local availability, shipping, cinema releases, collectors, artists, shops, and events deserve attention, but Off Model remains connected to the international culture around anime and manga.
Fan material matters
Collections and fan-made work are not treated as an afterthought. A painted figure, carefully built shelf, cosplay prop, or layered print can carry as much intention as a written review. Off Model documents both the finished object and the decisions behind it.
