Editorial policy
The basic standards Off Model applies to reviews, reporting, spoilers, corrections, credits, and commercial relationships.
Reviews and opinion
Reviews are based on material the reviewer has actually watched, read, played, built, or used. Opinions published by Off Model do not claim to represent every contributor or reader.
Reporting and sources
News and reporting should link to original announcements, official accounts, direct interviews, filings, or other primary sources whenever available. Rumours, leaks, and unconfirmed reports must be identified clearly rather than presented as fact.
Spoilers
Material plot information should carry a clear warning describing its scope, such as “anime-only discussion,” “spoilers through Chapter 74,” or “full-series spoilers.” Individual sections may remain collapsed until a reader chooses to open them.
Credits and copyright
Contributors receive visible bylines. Images should include meaningful alternative text and, when applicable, a caption, creator or rights-holder credit, and source link. Permission should be obtained for fan artwork and community photography.
Sponsorship and affiliate links
Paid, sponsored, gifted, or affiliate relationships must be disclosed near the relevant content. Commercial support does not purchase a favourable opinion or remove the need for criticism.
Corrections
Substantive factual corrections should be made promptly and identified transparently. Minor spelling or formatting fixes may be made without a correction note.
Scope
Off Model does not claim comprehensive coverage. Selection reflects relevance, interest, available time, and the expertise of current contributors.
