Black Clover took over the rewatch time. One Piece and Edgerunners are staying, and The Color of the End has already grabbed me.

Off Model autumn rotation cover for October–December 2026, pairing a Black Clover rewatch with discovering The Color of the End.
Old favourites, new worlds: the anime and manga making the October–December rotation. Off Model

I started rewatching Black Clover to remind myself of the story before it returns. That ended up taking most of the time I'd meant to give Gachiakuta, Fire Force and Frieren.

In the summer Cut, I had plans to get further into all three. That hasn't quite happened. A few things have stayed where I left them, while Black Clover has turned into a much longer refresher than I expected.

For October through December, I'm sticking with a few familiar names, looking forward to more Edgerunners, and hoping to get back to Gachiakuta. There's also a new manga on the list that has already grabbed me: The Color of the End.

Anime: Black Clover took over

I'm at episode 40 of Black Clover, and it's reminding me why I liked the series. But it also feels slower than I remember.

The early stretch hasn't been my favourite part of the rewatch. I'm looking forward to getting further in, where I remember enjoying it more. Maybe the pace picks up there, or maybe I'm just noticing it differently this time.

There's a shorter refresher in our Black Clover catch-up guide, covering where the first anime left off and what to revisit. I've gone for the long route instead.

The new season is listed for 3 October on Crunchyroll, with Europe included and the exact airtime still to be confirmed. I'll definitely be watching, but I've still got a lot of episodes between me and that return.

Bleach: I still want to see it through

I'm going to finish Bleach, even if the recent battles have left me frustrated.

Urahara's fight reminded me how much the anime can add. I could follow the strategy more clearly, and that made the fight more satisfying. Some of the battles since have felt hurried by comparison: I understand how powerful everyone is, but I don't always feel it. I still want to see how the ending lands.

One Piece stays weekly

I'm up to date with the One Piece anime, and I'll keep watching. I've now seen significantly further than I got in the manga, which makes picking it back up a slightly different prospect.

I'd be reading through material I've already watched before reaching anything new. I don't mind that, but I'm not sure I want to do it just yet. If the anime takes a break, that might be a good time to return to the manga. For now, I'm happy watching.

Back to Night City

The first Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is finished, and I'm definitely watching the second series. The original made me care about a world I barely understood. Finishing it left me wanting more of Night City, so Edgerunners stays active on the board.

Gachiakuta is still waiting

Gachiakuta hasn't moved past episode 12. I meant to get back to it, but Black Clover took over. I'd still like to pick it up again this autumn.

Fire Force and Frieren will probably have to wait. I haven't watched any more of either, so there's no change of heart to explain. They're still on standby.

Manga: Jump, volumes and something new

I'm still reading Sakamoto Days in Jump. With Kagurabachi, I'm waiting for the collected volumes rather than switching to the weekly chapters.

After the first eight volumes, it was the world and all its unanswered questions that kept me interested. I want to see where it goes next.

The English Volume 9 is due on 3 November (opens in a new tab) , so I'll probably read that this autumn if I can get a copy. Volume 10 is listed for 2 February 2027 (opens in a new tab) , which puts it outside this Cut. Those are the publisher's dates; getting the books in Cyprus may take a little longer.

The Color of the End has already grabbed me

I haven't even finished Volume 1 of The Color of the End: Mission in the Apocalypse, so this isn't a review. But the artwork and atmosphere have already made a strong impression, and I genuinely don't know where it's heading.

I want to read the first three volumes this autumn. I'll have more to say once I've got further in. For now, I'm enjoying being pulled into something unfamiliar, without knowing what comes next.
